Nick Clayton
Sales & Marketing / Business Development
Nick has been involved with the mining, agricultural and horticultural sectors for 40 years. His career includes being an AFL Grounds Construction Manager, a Golf Course Superintendent and senior management in both a national grounds maintenance company and a state-based landscape construction company.
Nick has a very hands-on approach and is very technically attuned to the practical applications of amorphous silica and has overseen many trials and accreditation of this unique mineral.
He is the Founder of Mineral Magic , Net Zero Concrete Solutions and a Director of Silica Earth Resources.
Bruce Scarterfield
Commercial Development
Beginning his career in 1978, Bruce has spent his entire career in the irrigation and horticultural market managing industry leaders such as Total Eden and now, the Newground Group. His recent acquisition of RGD Corporation sees the coverage of the national horticultural, mining and agricultural distribution networks expand and this offers a complete offering to commercial customers.
His work has helped develop the water services industry and its technologies to what it is today, and he is well respected amongst his peers, colleagues and by industry professionals.
Murray Loxton
Mining, Logistic & Production
Murray discovered and started establishing the mine as far back as the early 1990’s and was a founder of Silica Earth Resources back in 2019.
In addition, he has worked in the Mining and Civil construction industry for over 30 years as a builder through his association with Pinnacle Builders Pty Ltd of which he remains as a Director and Shareholder. Murray’s role was varied but mostly as a project manager-supervisor on a variety of projects up to several million dollars.
Additionally, Murray has held multiple mining operational positions including a successful gold mine.
He is very familiar with the mining and the processing of our target material in the mine site location.
Ramon Skåne
Technical & Product Development Engineer (Consultant)
Ramon is a distinguished Environmental Engineer with a rich background in the water, waste and circular economy industries. With a dynamic career spanning both industry and academia, Ramon possesses extensive experience in steering innovative projects, particularly in R&D, entrepreneurship, and project management within the realms of sustainability and technological advancement.
With extensive experience in the materials science, engineering and entrepreneurship spaces, Ramon’s expertise lies in pioneering projects that fuse technical brilliance with entrepreneurial acumen. Ramon has notably led ground-breaking research and development initiatives including the production, QAQC and design of a geopolymer eco-concrete product and own production facility in Western Australia’s Southwest region.
His unwavering commitment to both sustainability and commercialization underscore his passion for driving transformative change within the industry, positioning him as an influential force in shaping a more sustainable future.
Hendrik Gildenhuys
Technical, Environmental & Operations Engineer (Consultant)
Hendrik is an adept Environmental Engineer with a strong foundation in hands-on concrete craftsmanship, coupled with analytical prowess in characterizing mine tailings and process residues. His extensive experience as a concrete form worker brings valuable practical knowledge and technical insights gained from actively contributing to various facets of the concrete industry on numerous projects across Western Australia.
His expertise spans the characterization of mine tailings, process residues and recycled aggregates (to name a few), enabling the identification of optimal methods for the production and development of innovative concrete-based products, whether it be a conventional/Portland cement, geopolymer material or otherwise.
With a robust background in concrete formwork and a keen understanding of concrete manufacturing processes, Hendrik has proven instrumental in the successful implementation of innovative solutions within the industry.
